Italian Restaurants in the Bronx: Arthur Ave and Beyond

Tony Marchetti · November 4, 2026 · 8 min read

Snapshot answerItalian restaurants in the Bronx from Arthur Avenue to Morris Park and the Grand Concourse: Emilio's, Addeo's, Giovanni, Fratelli and more, by hours and price.

Bronx Italian restaurants differ most in what they post. Emilio’s of Morris Park at 1051 Morris Park Avenue and Addeo’s of the Bronx at 1056 Morris Park Avenue print dollar prices and hours, Fratelli at 2507 Eastchester Road prints prices but no hours, and Giovanni at 579 Grand Concourse and Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue at 2339 Arthur Avenue post hours with bare or missing prices. Among the menus that print dollar prices, a chicken parmigiana entrée runs from $20.95 at Emilio’s to $29.95 at Fratelli. Hours, prices and policies below come from each restaurant’s own website, checked in October 2026.

This guide starts in Morris Park and on the Grand Concourse, then crosses to Arthur Avenue for Enzo’s and Pasquale’s Rigoletto, two dining rooms the guide to Arthur Avenue restaurants leaves out.

Which Italian restaurants in the Bronx are worth planning around?

Pasquale’s Rigoletto 2311 Arthur Ave 26.95, no dollar sign; confirm Tue-Thu and Sun 12-9pm; Fri to 9:30pm; Sat to 10:30pm (footer 2015; confirm)

Why these six Bronx restaurants?

Each has a working official website, a Bronx address and at least one of posted hours, a priced menu or a stated party policy. These are editorial picks, not a taste test, and the table is grouped by area rather than ranked. Restaurants whose sites could not be read in October 2026 are left out. Prices printed as bare numbers, or not at all, are marked “confirm”.

Where can you eat Italian in the Bronx outside Arthur Avenue?

Morris Park: Emilio’s of Morris Park

Emilio’s says it has served Morris Park “since 1989”. Its menu prints dollar prices: chicken parmigiana at $20.95 with pasta, salad or potato croquette, baked lasagna at $18.95 and a plain tomato-sauce pasta at $16.95, both with salad and bread. Lunch combos are $14.95 with a soda, but the menu says “Monday to Saturday” for the section and “Monday to Friday” for the combos, so confirm a Saturday at (718) 822-6758.

Family combo meals are labeled “Feeds 4-6 people”. The pizza combos (#1 to #4) start at $28.95. Combo #5, the first with pasta trays (chicken parmigiana, ziti or spaghetti, salad and a 2L soda), is $42.95, or 7.16 dollars a head for six and 10.74 for four (42.95 divided by 6 and by 4). Whether combos are served in the dining room is not stated on the Main Menu, and the About page pitches them for sharing at home while also naming dine-in, take-out and delivery. For sit-down tables, see family-style Italian restaurants in NYC compared by cost.

Morris Park: Addeo’s of the Bronx

Addeo’s traces the family to Addeo & Sons Bakery on Arthur Avenue “more than 80 years ago” and says its menu “has a chef’s touch” with dishes that “come and go with the seasons.” Posted prices include spaghetti with meatballs at $20, homemade meat lasagna at $22 and chicken parmigiana at $25. Walk-ins are permitted, but the Reservations page “always” recommends booking: 718-824-5036.

On Sunday the site disagrees with itself. The Hours & Location page prints “Sunday (12 - 10pm)”, while the Reservations page says “on Sundays from 12:00 to 9:00pm”, so ask before a late Sunday table. Private dining runs by inquiry, with a reply promised within 24 hours.

The Grand Concourse: Giovanni

Giovanni says it was “established in 1992”. Its dine-in and takeout menus are PDFs that print dish prices as bare numbers, with dollar signs only on extras: chicken parmigiana 29, served with salad, pasta or rice; homemade lasagna 31; baked ziti 18. Neither PDF prints a date, the dine-in file is named “september-22”, and the homepage says pricing is “subject to change without notice”, so treat every figure as “confirm”.

The two PDFs also differ. Adding parmigiana to a hot hero is $2 on the dine-in PDF and $3 on the takeout PDF, and The Best Seller pizza (sausage and mushroom) is 27, 30 and 33 for medium, large and Sicilian on dine-in against 26, 29 and 32 on takeout. The chicken parmigiana, lasagna and baked ziti numbers match in both.

The Events & Catering page says Giovanni, “in conjunction with our very own GBar located right next door,” can accommodate up to 200 guests, the only headcount on the pages read. Call (718) 402-6996; the contact form takes no reservation requests.

Eastchester Road: Fratelli

Fratelli says it has been “in the same location for the past 20 years”. The menu page prints dollar prices throughout: lasagna at $26.95 and chicken parmigiana at $29.95, with entrées served with penne or spaghetti, sautéed vegetable or potato croquette. A line at the bottom adds an “Extra Plate Charge for Split Dinners $9.00”. The pages read for this guide post no hours, so phone 718.547.2489; the menu page says to call to reserve.

Which Bronx Italian restaurants are open late?

Only Emilio’s posts a close after 10:30 PM, as of October 2026: 12 AM on Friday and Saturday and 11 PM on other nights. Giovanni, Addeo’s and Enzo’s close at 10 PM on most days, and Pasquale’s Rigoletto closes at 10:30 pm on Saturday and 9:00 pm on Sunday. Four of the six list Monday hours; Pasquale’s opens Tuesday to Sunday only, and Fratelli posts none.

Is there still a Little Italy in the Bronx?

The Belmont Business Improvement District, a local business association, still uses the name: its site calls itself “The Official Site of Businesses of Arthur Avenue Known As LITTLE ITALY IN THE BRONX”. Enzo’s describes the avenue as running “from about 184th to 188th Street in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx”.

Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue: dishes without prices

Enzo’s says it opened in 2005 and runs a lunch menu “Monday-Friday 11:30am-3pm only.” Its dinner menu lists dishes but no prices; the chicken parmigiana comes with spaghetti, “no substitutions.” The homepage says it takes major credit cards and cash but not contactless payments, including Apple Pay. The footer reads 2022, so confirm details at (718) 733-4455. Private events go through an inquiry form that promises a quote.

Pasquale’s Rigoletto: weekends by reservation

Pasquale’s Rigoletto, at 2311 Arthur Avenue by Crescent Avenue, says it has served southern Italian cuisine on the avenue “for over 30 years”. Its Contact page says “reservations are required on weekends”; the number is 718-365-6644. Its dinner menu prints chicken parmigiana as 26.95, without a dollar sign, and the footer reads 2015, so confirm the figure and the hours by phone. A private dining room is available for “special occasions”; no size or price is posted.

What does a Bronx Italian dinner cost?

As of October 2026, Fratelli’s chicken parmigiana is 9 dollars above Emilio’s (29.95 minus 20.95), with Addeo’s at $25 between them. Lasagna starts the same way: Emilio’s $18.95, Addeo’s $22 and Fratelli $26.95, an 8-dollar gap from Emilio’s to Fratelli (26.95 minus 18.95). The other three menus offer no dollar prices to compare. Giovanni prints 29 for chicken parmigiana and 31 for lasagna, Pasquale’s Rigoletto prints 26.95 for chicken parmigiana on a menu with a 2015 footer, and Enzo’s prints no prices, so confirm all three by phone. For the same comparison outside the Bronx, see the price-band guide to Italian-American restaurants.

Which part of the Bronx suits which night?

  • A late night, a Monday or a tray to take home: Emilio’s, which also posts the lowest chicken parmigiana and lasagna prices of the menus with dollar signs.
  • A booked, seasonal dinner: Addeo’s.
  • A party of up to 200: Giovanni. Addeo’s, Enzo’s and Pasquale’s Rigoletto take event inquiries, but none posts a room size or price.
  • A fully priced menu: Fratelli, once a call settles the hours.
  • Arthur Avenue: the Arthur Avenue guide first, then Enzo’s for a sit-down dinner when prices can wait for a call, or Pasquale’s Rigoletto for a Sunday booked ahead.
